The preparation meeting for the First International Scientific Conference of Iraqi Veterinary Colleges was held under the supervision of the Dean of College of Veterinary Medicine, Dr. Muhammad Shukri Shukr.
Venue: College of Veterinary Medicine/ University of Dohuk
Date: June 9, 2024.
The scientific committee of the conference and most of the teaching staff at the college attended the meeting. The attendees exchanged ideas about the preparations for the aforementioned conference, the opinions of the professors were discussed in details to reach the best results.
It is worth noting that the College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Dohuk is the leading side holding the conference.
The conference will take place at the University of Dohuk on October 23-24, 2024 under the slogan “Strengthening Tomorrow’s Health; Veterinary Medicine Leading the Way”
Four colleges of veterinary medicine affiliated with four Iraqi universities will participate in the conference; the universities are as follows:
- Sulaymaniyah
- Mosul
- Al-Qadisiyah
- Salah al-Din.
