Animal Biotechnology Program

Introduction

Animal Biotechnology play an important role in our lives, our future, and our evolution, by providing required data and information for decision-making and problem solving in various situations; whether it is for a study, or for creating therapeutic programs, or making life-changing decisions that benefit the community.

The animal biotechnology program was designed for the development of tissue culture research, through providing modern technologies specialized for isolation and characterization of tissue culture and stem cells.  The main objective of setting up this lab was to establishment and designing new tissue culture cells from different animal sources for different application uses as for banking.

This laboratory also provides an opportunity to postgraduate students through using the facilities in the lab to run experiments contributing to building their theses and research publishing.
