Introduction
The Department of International Relations (IR) and Diplomacy at the College of Political Science/ University of Duhok (UoD) offers a right opportunity for students to develop their background related to diverse aspects of international relations and their career opportunities. The IR is particularly concerned with relations across boundaries of states. Thus, our department addresses and offers a wide range of programs and topics with international and interdisciplinary aspects. In particular, history, principles and theories of IR, foreign policy analysis, international political economy and contemporary global issues, such as terrorism, environment, and nuclear proliferation etc. In addition, the department provides students with scientific research methods and necessary career skills. Thus, these programs will enable students to have and develop a solid background in relations to various aspects of international politics and, at the same time, provide students with solid foundations for various job opportunities.
