Academic Session on The impact of women’s Quota system on her political participation in KRG

Under the direct supervision of the President of the University of Duhok, Dr. Dawood Sulaiman Atrushi, The Center for Gender Equality Studies at the University of Duhok, in collaboration with the Legal Research Center/College of Law and the STEP Organization for Democracy and Elections, held an academic session on October 16, 2023, under the title "Academic Session on The impact of women’s Quota system on her political participation in KRG" The session was presided by the director of the Center for Gender Equality Studies Ms. Dileen Sardar Zuhdi. The session discussed the role of women in political progress and decision-making, with a particular focus on the impact of the women's quota system.

The session brought together academics, practitioners, and policymakers to discuss the following topics:
