College of City and Regional Planning
The College of City and Regional Planning as partner of DAAD Program Ta’ziz Netzwerke (2023-2025) participate in a workshop held in German Jordanian University in Amman on 16-23 Feb. The program is supervised by TU-Berlin, UN-Habitat. The recent workshop focuses on "Redefining Public Space in 'Ira' (As-Salt), Jordan," conducted with participation from students, academics, and specialists from diverse backgrounds.
Mr. Vajin Barwari, a Spatial Planner and academic from the College of City and Regional Planning-UoD had a role in supervising a group of young planners in their fieldwork, assisting them in data collection, and providing brief analysis of public spaces.
The program's next workshop is anticipated to take place in the city of Duhok, aiming to further promote public participation in open spaces within the region.
