The Summer School Students visit Berlin city

As a continuation of the Summer School program in Germany, the students visited Berlin city, which started with an insightful exploration of the History of Urban Development and Planning in the city and a guided tour of Berlin's iconic historic sites (the Wall Memorial, a scenic boat ride, and the renowned Brandenburg Gate).

Moreover, the students visited the historic city of Potsdam, with its rich heritage, along with a meeting with the Ministry of Infrastructure and Landscaping to deliberate on the Joint Regional Planning corporation Berlin-Brandenburg, focusing on urban landscape of the region. The stay in Berlin also delved on a detailed presentation by Mr. Kühne, Senate for Urban Development and Housing, the Rummelsburger Bucht to explore Urban rainwater management, a visit to Friedrichstadt to gain information about Urban renewal and collective housing, followed by a tour to railway Triangle Park which is a Modern mix of housing and green spaces area.
