The Council of the Department of Computer Science met today 2016-09-26, Monday, to discuss the draft of the memorandum of understanding that was presented by the German Organization for International Cooperation (GIZ-CfW), to the Department of Computer Science at the University of Duhok (CS-UoD). The main objective of the memorandum is to make way for cooperation and knowledge-exchange in the field of IT between the GIZ-CfW and CS-UoD. GIZ-CfW will provide opportunities to the students of CS-UoD to gather working experience in the international cooperation sector. In return, these students will collect data and develop software solutions to facilitate the work of GIZ-CfW.
The discussion was focused on the terms of the memorandum, and several suggestions were made by the members of the department council for modifying some terms or possibility introducing other terms in order to make the memorandum more beneficial for both parties.
