Two Surgeons ( teaching staff) from the University of Duhok/ College of Medicine, namely Dr. Ahmad Mohammad Sharif Tahir and Dr. Ala Salim Bahjat, had attended a necessary live course in Ancona city of Italy, which was on minimal invasive cardiac surgeries, “ANCONA LIVE COURSE, Minimally Invasive and Trans-Catheter Cardiac Surgery, Focus on mitral/tricuspid valves: from theory to practice Episode IV”. Their attendance was an initial and essential step in the way to bring and perform heart valve operations in our locality by minimally invasive procedures, which will have a great impact.
