Title of Workshop: Domestic and Industrial Electrical Installation: Design and Safe Implementation
Place of the event: Meeting Hall of ECE Dept.
Justification: Last several years have witnessed a lot of casualties due to unsafe and unprotected electrical installations of homes and commercial buildings, as a result, a lot of victims got deadly electrical shocks which could be overcome by applying some protection techniques.
Objectives:
- Discussing different types of protection that could be applied.
- Explaining the practical ways for connecting some sensitive circuit breakers and fuses which could prevent the excess currents or any expected electrical shock.
- Introducing the importance of Grounding or Earthing wire at power outlets.
- Exploring the importance of Industrial Electrical installations in industrial sites, how does it differ from the domestic sites
- Introduce electrical installations designing tools
