Martyrs for Independence of Kurdistan
Under the martyr’s batch of independence of Kurdistan title, the University of Duhok held in 23/11/2016 graduation ceremony (21) for the academic year (2015-2016) in the presence of members of the University Council.
In these decrees, the Faculty of Law and Political Science, in the presence of the Dean, Professor Qasim Ahmed Qasim, had proudly presented the bachelor's degree in law to the graduated students who completed their studies successfully. The total number of graduates was 95 students, which consist of 66 males and 29 females.
In this occasion, we pay tribute to the martyrs of Kurdistan who sacrificed their pure blood to protect Kurdistan land and people of Kurdistan from ISIS (Daish). We also thank the Peshmerga forces who have been fighting to protect Kurdistan land and Kurdish people. We thank Peshmerga for protecting democratic experience of Kurdistan and the world from ISIS (Daish). We also thank the highly-respected faculty members whom, despite the difficult circumstances, they kept teaching process and brought their students to this stage. We also thank the College staff whom have done their best and helped make this process a success. Finally, we wish all the graduates success, and we hope that they will work to develop Kurdistan society in terms of law and do their best to establish Kurdish civil society.Faculty of College of Law and Political Science
