In the presence of the President of the Kurdistan Region and the Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Region, and in the opening ceremony of the Institute of Innovation and Innovation KII on 14 February 2022 in Erbil, Dr. David Sulaiman Atroshi, Rector of Duhok University, participated in a debate on how to promote innovation, improve the quality of university graduates and build skills.

In his speech, the President said that the cooperation and support of the Kurdistan Regional Government, the private sector and universities in this institution is important for the success of this institute in the importance of innovation and innovation.

"The youth of Kurdistan, especially anyone who has innovations and new ideas in any field, can visit this institute to get support and promote their ideas and innovations and rely on this institute," Barzani said.

Rector of Duhok University David Sulaiman Atroshi, who participated in the first panel of the opening of the Kurdistan Institute of Innovation and Innovation, said: “Of course, the opening of KII is very good news for students and youth of our country KII can also become a bridge between the public and private sectors and with the universities of the Kurdistan Region and the needs of companies that want to improve their products or innovate their ideas, bring those ideas to universities and research them in universities Scientific researchers are in universities, and this will be a good coordination between Kurdistan universities and KII Institute to promote these ideas.”

It is worth mentioning that Masrour Barzani, Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Regional Government, is the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Kurdistan Institute of Innovation and Innovation.
