University of Duhok Signed an Agreement with the American University of Kurdistan

Aiming to arrive at better mutual academic, educational, and scientific achievements, University of Duhok and the American University of Kurdistan (AUK) signed an agreement of understanding about mutual cooperation. The agreement was signed in the 9th of March 2022 in a meeting held in the AUK attended by Dr. Dawood Sulaiman Atrushi, UoD President, Dr. Randall Rhodes, AUK President, Dr. Rund Hammoudi, Director of the International Relations Office (IRO), and Dr. Nazar M.S. Numan, AUK Provost. 

In the meeting, Dr. Atrushi stated that “the UoD has a leading role in providing all universities in Duhok with academic staff. AUK is an important partner of the UoD and has many mutual objectives. Hence, it is very significant to achieve collaboration and cooperation in such influential areas as the provision of academic staff, libraries and related resources.”

Similarly, Dr. Rhodes explained that they are “glad for the collaboration with the UoD in order to present better scientific and educational services to the student of the UoD including their education and the development of the different colleges.” Dr. Numan also referred to the role of the UoD: “UoD is a source for the production of productive and well-qualified individuals.”

It is important that the UoD has a clear strategy for partnership and cooperation with different academic governmental and non-governmental institutions as well as the achievement of better academic and scientific goals.
