With the aim of strengthening the capacity of community members, particularly the university students and youth from different backgrounds, as peacebuilders in the community to increase social cooperation between members of different groups (faith, ethnicity, genders), the University of Duhok Center for Peace and Conflict Resolution Studies conducted the first workshop on “Community Conflict Management”. The workshop conducted at the Cultural Center of the University of Duhok on 28th to 30th June 2022. The workshop, which attended by 25 students and youth from different backgrounds, facilitated by Mr. Amjad Ali Hussein. The workshop is one of the center activities within the project of “Building Inclusive Communities in Iraq-Rebuilding Trust”, which is being implemented with fund from the Church of Sweden, and in partnership with the Lutheran World Federation-LWF Iraq and Baghdad Women’s Association.
