On November 21st, 2023, the College of City and Regional Planning held an engaging seminar titled "COP28 Experience: Simulating Climate Action for a Sustainable Future." The seminar was led by Ms. Gardenia Ghassan, an esteemed alumna of the College of City and Regional Planning.
The seminar aimed to explore the essence of COP (Conference of the Parties), an annual gathering facilitated by the United Nations. This global congregation brings nations together to evaluate the progress made in combatting climate change. Moreover, it serves as a platform to strategize future steps in safeguarding the environment, adhering to guidelines outlined in international climate change agreements.
