The Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudy, honored the National Council for the Accreditation of Medical Colleges in Iraq on the occasion of Iraq receiving international recognition and accreditation from the World Federation for Medical Education (WFME).

In his speech during the official ceremony attended by a group of representatives, governmental and academic figures, he said that this historic achievement will remain a person for generations: Iraq attaining international recognition and accreditation from the World Federation for Medical Education, whose experts made a scientific assessment and programmatic discovery of the medical education climate and the mechanisms of the Iraqi Council for accreditation of medical colleges In Iraq .

He confirmed that the decision of the World Union for Medical Education granted to Iraq summarizes the scientific level of our academic institutions, their certificates, their curriculum, the eligibility of their educational systems, and their potential responsible for achieving their mission and goals in accordance with approved global standards, pointing to securing the Iraqi certificates path and delivering the expected level of it.

The ceremony includes speeches and tribute to a member of the Parliamentary Education Committee, Dr. Faras Al-Muslmawi, the head of the Scientific Supervision and Calibration System, Dr. Salah Al-Fatlawi, the head of Deans of Medical Colleges, Dr. Anis Khalil, and a number of deans of medical colleges in Iraqi universities that have received accreditation from the National Council for Accreditation of Medical Colleges in Iraq.
