Last week, from 1/4/2023 to 8/4/2023, In continuation of the ‘Genocide in Our Memory’ project and schools’ visits program, Center for Genocide Studies - University of Duhok, with financial support of Youth Speak, visited Bjara Typical High School, Sharya Camp high school, Sharya Camp secondary school, Kalabadre high school, Esiya Camp 1 high school, Rehat secondary school, Baadre high school, Rebaz secondary school and Metra secondary school to present a seminar about genocide and mass-killing against Kurds to secondary and high school students. This project is supervised by assistant researcher (Mohammed Hasan) from Center for Genocide Studies and with participation of (Ali Sivok Ismaeel, Sagvan Sleman Ali and Sherihan Saeed Fakhri) students of Human Rights and Peace Studies department at University of Duhok. The aim of this project is to raise the information on genocide and the mass-killings against our Kurdish people and to include university’s students in scientific and academic activities.
