In the 15th of March 2021, the university council held its 6th meeting in the academic year 202-2021. General issues related to the university, students, and teachers, postgraduate studies, scientific affairs were discussed in the meeting.
Dr. Luqman Hadi, Vice president for Scientific Affairs, said that one of the subjects highlighted in the meeting was about the ministerial article of approving the one year diploma certificate giving the scientific title for the candidates with average score less than 60 marks. I addition to that a committee was formed for the purpose of evaluating scientific conferences under the supervision of quality assurance.”
It is worth mentioning that the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research was proposed to review the scientific and administrative directions in coordination with specialized experts in the different universities.
