A delegation from the U.S. Consulate General’s Public Affairs Section in Erbil visited the University of Duhok (UoD) on the 29th of March 2016. The UoD President, Prof. Mosleh Duhoky, along with the Director of International Relations Office, Dr. Rund Hammoudi, welcomed Mr. Doug Morrow the Public Affairs Officer and the accompanied team of Public Affairs Section.

During the meeting, both sides discussed the ongoing relations of the UoD with the U.S. Consulate General in Erbil, the current projects and the future collaboration.

The delegation offered a collection of books in different subjects to the University of Duhok library as a gift from the consulate.

Mr. Morrow also visited the American Corner at the University of Duhok and met with Volunteers of Duhok University VDU. The student volunteers shared a briefing about their activities and the work they have done.
