Partnerships for Enhanced Engagement in Research (PEER)

The U.S. Agency for International Development’s (USAID) Partnerships for Enhanced Engagement in Research (PEER) program announces the opening of a new funding cycle for international scientific research. The program is implemented by the U.S. National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine. PEER awards will support local researchers working in partnership with a current U.S. government funded researcher.

Goals are:
To be better translating evidence into policy for improved development outcomes, build capacity among local scientists and research institutions, and strengthen research partnerships between developing countries and the U.S.
