Description
Chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL) is a malignant lymphoid disorder that results from the accumulation of mature looking clonal B-lymphoid cells in the bone marrow, peripheral blood, and lymphatic tissue. . The seminar emphasized the role of an epigenetic alteration beside the genetic mutations affecting the promoter of the P53, E-cadherin and MMP-9 gene on the chronic lymphocytic leukemia pathogenesis and progression.
