As part of the encouragement and support that Dr. Shavan Askar (Lecturer at the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department, College of Engineering) gives to his MSc students, he always share his hot-topic research ideas with them so that their papers could be accepted abroad. This year, Dr. Askar with his MSc student Mr. Faaiz S. Fizi got their paper accepted in CoBCom conference (International Conference on Broadband Communications for Next Generation Networks and Multimedia Applications) that is conducted in Graz, Austria in September 14-16, 2016. It is important to mention that the accepted paper will be indexed by IEEE.

The research paper is entitled "A Novel Load Balancing Algorithm for Software Defined Network Based Datacenters".
