Dr. Ameen Mosa, asst. Professor of Cardiology at the College of Medicine, participated with a paper that was presented at a conference which was entitled "Prevalence and Relation of CYP2C19 Polymorphism with Cardiovascular outcome in Iraqi Kurdish Patients Undergoing PCI".  Being the first such a study carried out in Iraq, it was done on 151 patients at Duhok's College of Medicine, Heart Center, from 2013 until April 2016.

The Conference, EuroPCR 2016, was held in Paris, France on 17-20,5,2016. It is an international conference in Europe that is related to interventional cardiology. It is attended by more than a dozen thousand cardiologists from worldwide.

The abstract of the study has already been published in the Eurointervention Journal with 3.77 impact factor.
