University of Duhok Signs Memorandum of Understanding with Carleton University

The President of the University of Duhok Prof. Mosleh Duhoky visited Carleton University in Ottawa, Canada. The two parties agreed on signing a Memorandum of Understanding between their two institutions and activate it and make it us an umbrella for their future collaboration in different academic fields. President Duhoky represented the University of Duhok while Prof. Rafeek Jubran the Vice President represented Carleton University.


The new MoU with Carleton University concentrate on the academic collaboration between the two institutions like staff and students exchange, share resources and future joint supervision on postgraduate students. In general Carleton University will take role in developing the English Language studies at UoD and will directly collaborate with the department of sociology and the center of gender studies, for that President Duhoky met with Dr. L. Pauline Rankin the Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Social Science and they discussed the future collaboration and its implementation.



It is worth mentioning that Carleton University founded in 1942 and it has 26,321 undergraduate students and they have long history in leadership in energy efficiency research and they launched and exciting national organization in their campus named Efficiency Canada.
