According to an official letter at Duhok University, written on 26/9/2019 and numbered (8803), a private committee will be formed for the purpose of choosing a representative for teachers at all colleges at Duhok University as well as a representative for teachers at the council of Duhok University. This committee was comprised of former representative of teachers at the council of Duhok University, Dr. Mirza Murad, the directorate of Administration and Immanence, Mr. Hishyar Saeed, and the directorate of Legal Affairs, Mr. Kawa Salih.

In choosing a representative for teachers at the council of Duhok University, Dr. Mirza Murad pointed out that the person who’s chosen to be a representative will face many responsibilities which is why he/she must represent teachers at all colleges at the University of Duhok and take their voice and complaints to the council of Duhok University.

Mr. Hishyar Saeed indicated that they have been busy for a while in choosing a representative for teachers at 18 colleges at Duhok University. He also stated that at the end of this process on 2/12/2019 at the Cultural and Social Center- University of Duhok, they were present in the selection of a representative for teachers at the council of Duhok University. The role of representative is for 2 years. Mr. Hishyar Saeed stated that a big “thank you” goes to Dr. Mirza Murad. 

The directorate of Administration and Immanence pointed out that the latter committee gave way to the nominees to run for the representative position. Mr. Nibar Badiee Abdulazeez, a teacher at College of Humanities, was chosen as the representative for teachers at the council of Duhok University for the next 2 years.
