The Duhok directorate of Printing and Publication has opened the seventh annual Duhok book fair at the Student Center on 9/12/2019 on Duhok University campus. The president of Duhok University, Dr. Muslih Duhoki, and Deputy Governor, Behzad Ali Adam were present for this opening.

The spokesman of the Directorate of Printing and Publication, Burhan Yahya indicated that the seventh annual Duhok book fair will last for 6 days. He also stated that in this book fair, 12 bookshops along with the Duhok directorate of Printing and Publication participated in this book fair. Some of these bookshop representatives from Erbil and Sulaimani bookshops brought with them books. More than 6,000 books are included and there is a 30% discount on all of these books. There are more new books for students this year than the previous because the number of printed books has been increased, either by the authors themselves or private sectors with scientific sources.
