An academic member participated in a Conference in Amman

Dr. Jassim Mohammed Abdo, Director of Duhok Research Center (DRC), at The University of Duhok  participated in “The Middle East and South Asia Conference on Epigenetics and Genomics of Infectious Diseases” on March 7-8, 2016 in   Royal Scientific Society of Jordan. The conference supported by Defense Threat Reduction Agency and United States Strategic Command Center.

Dr. Jassim Mohammed Abdo is Director of Duhok Research Center and received his Ph.D. in Molecular Biology and Immunology from the Ludwig-Maximilians University, Munich, Germany. He is an Instructor at the Department of Microbiology, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Dohuk in  Kurdistan Region/IRAQ. He is Member of the Editorial Board of the Journal of University of Duhok (JUD). He participates in many national and international conference and workshop in molecular biology. He participate in  a project on Epidemiology. Diagnostic tools, Bioinformatics and Tick Taxonomy, and on STVM ,Arbo-Zoonet, ICTTD-3, Bird Flu, and ConFluTech that is supported by European Union. Dr. Abdo’s also has participated in an UNESCO project for development the higher education and research situation in Iraq.
