During the 15th IAU conference on the 13-16 of Nov. 2016 in Bangkok, Thailand, the President of the University of Duhok Prof. Mosleh Duhoky has been elected as one of the board member of the International Associations of Universities (IAU) to represent Asia and Pacific Region. His election came after a tough competition between presidents of different universities in the world.
The election of Prof. Mosleh in this prestigious fine position will has a great impact on the name of the University of Duhok and Kurdistan Region as well. This important position will give the chance to the University of Duhok to represent different member universities in Asia and Pacific.
It is worth mentioning that the IAU is belonging to the UNISCO and located in Paris, France. The IAU mission is to build a worldwide higher education community by offering a forum and a variety of services to higher education leaders who share common values and interests and who wish to exchange with their peers on issues of global concern.
On the sidelines of the conference, the President of the University of Duhok Prof. Mosleh Duhoky has met delegations from four international universities and they have talk about strengthen relations between the two sides.
