President of the University of Duhok Visits 3Universities in Philippines

To promote academic collaboration with countries from South-East Asia, the President of the University of Duhok Prof. Mosleh Duhoky visited several universities in Manila Philippines for the period from 20th to 27th of January 2017. His visit came after he received an official invitation letter from the his excellency the Iraqi Ambassador in Manila, Philippines Mr. Hazim Al-Yousif. The visit was jointly arranged and implemented by the Embassy of Iraq in Manila and the Embassy of Philippine in Baghdad.
Three Universities in Manila visited by Prof. Mosleh Duhoky , they were: University of Santo Tomas, University of Holly Angel and the University of De La Salle. His excellency the Ambassador of Philippines in Baghdad joint the president of the University of Duhok during his visit to the University of Holly Angel. The main goal of the visit is to start beneficial relations with the higher education institutes in Philippines, which mainly includes students and staff mobility and exchange of different resources.
As immediate outcomes of the visit the UoD’s president signed along with the president of the university of Santo Tomas a Memorandum of Understanding for general future academic collaborations.
Prof. Duhoky also visited the Iraqi Embassy in Manila and was presented with comprehensive exposition on the status of higher education in Philippines.
