University of Dohuk with the coordination of Erbil International University and with the partnership of Kurdistan Regional Government‘s Representatives held an assembly about “Genocide and Kurd-Opinion and Suggestion” in the Institute of “Protestant of Theology” at Paris on 28th of June 2019.
A number of Lecturers and Researchers participated in that assembly; the President of Dohuk University Prof. Dr. Mosleh Dohuki in his speech said that Kurd and Genocide are two concepts that not by our will these two concepts are connected to each other ,but because of Kurdistan’s strategical position ,Kurd’s fate ,and the richness of the nature, Geography , water, and soil of Kurdistan .Kurds have always been subjected to Genocid , Anfal , exterminated and attacked with chemical weapons on the hands of the regimes that were in power of the district; our people have seen all kinds of injustice and misery.
Also, the President of University of Dohuk said that the subject of introducing Genocide must work on it more and they have to be known more in the International Centers; and all the proofs, documents, articles and the orders that are related to each case to be gathered in a Scientific ways .The needed proofs for each and every case must work on them in a Scientific ways.
It’s worth saying that the UoD held an International Conference about Genocide and Trauma in 2018 and in 2019 had done a Scientific International Conference too.
